My role and scope
I develop materials for mc2i’s Data Product Management offering and lead internal discussions on the practices to include.
Context
This internal work runs alongside client assignments. It covers the method mc2i intends to offer for defining and managing data products.
Method development
- Document the stages of defining, developing and operating a data product.
- Define responsibilities for Data Product Managers, Data Stewards and Data Engineers.
- Include data quality requirements and cost tracking.
- Lead discussions on these practices within the internal community.

- DPM reference comparison matrix covering governance, work organization and team support.
- Guide to success conditions for data products.
