Bubble Wordz - Android word game
I developed Bubble Wordz in Godot and published it on Google Play. Players connect letter bubbles to form words; the board’s physics creates new combinations after each selection.

The progression is designed for 10,000 levels, with rules defined in JSON files. I can change objectives and difficulty without rewriting the engine. The project also includes in-app purchases, progress saving and ads with consent management.

Since publication, I have used Firebase and BigQuery to analyze gameplay and monitor Google Ads acquisition. Crashlytics reports and Android tests inform fixes for subsequent releases.
Game engine and progression
- Designed the physics-based board, including touch selection, adjacent-letter paths, word validation and board renewal.
- Built a progression system designed for 10,000 levels, with JSON contracts defining objectives, difficulty profiles and selection rules.
- Added progression checks to identify repetitive, unreadable or poorly balanced levels.
Purchases, ads and saved progress
- Built dedicated Godot modules for ads, consent, saved progress, billing, notifications and localization.
- Integrated Google Play Billing for cosmetics, coin packs and interstitial ad removal.
- Synchronized player progress through Google Play Games and Cloud Save.
- Integrated AdMob and UMP consent, with ad preloading, cooldowns and delivery event tracking.
Usage analytics and acquisition
- Defined Firebase Analytics / GA4 events for progression, first sessions, ads and purchases.
- Monitored a Google Ads campaign using GA4 events and BigQuery cohorts, covering activation, retention and ad exposure.
- Analyzed cohorts and conversions in BigQuery, separating player activity from test and developer events.
- Investigated Crashlytics incidents and Firebase Performance data by version, device and gameplay context.
Android testing and releases
- Automated Android builds: test APKs, signed AABs, version numbering, AdMob configuration and R8 code shrinking.
- Retained deobfuscation files and automated uploads through Google Play Developer API, checking the release track.
- Ran Godot module tests, on-device ADB checks, visual reviews and performance measurements.
- Prepared Data Safety declarations, managed ad consent and checked Android compatibility.
